Major Release Version
This version of the software is a major release. The prefix for the MES release has been changed from 10.0 to 10.1, making this release 10.1.10.3.0.
The releases contents can be accessed through the Install Logs page.

Standard Banner, Menu and Font Formatting
In this release, we standardised the visual presentation of the Eyelit MES UI to align with a defined cross–line-of-business design specification.
We have implemented a consistent UI framework for banner, menu, and typography across the application.
Key changes delivered:
- Standardisedthe UI menu and banner across thesystemso they match theEyelit-wide design specification.
- Updated the font styling to ensure text is clear and easily readable across the application.
- Enforced formatting rules to prevent labels from wrapping mid-word, improving readability and visual consistency.
- Ensured grid headings wrap correctly, so column headers display cleanly without truncation or awkward breaks.

Assets
Work Centres Screen
We have improved the usability and filtering capability of the Work Centres screen to improve the ability to locate assets when asset tracking is enabled or disabled.
Additional filtering options have been introduced, improving field visibility, and standardising the layout to make it easier to locate and manage work centre records.

Key changes delivered:
- Added an Asset Tracking filter next toHide Inactivewith the following options:
- Asset tracking on and off.
- Assettracking ononly.
- Asset tracking off only.
- Addedadditionalfilters for:
- Work Centre Group.
- Department.
- Area.
- Updated the grid to include Excel and CSV export buttons, allowing users to export the displayed data.
- Renamed‘Work Centre Group’to‘Primary Work Centre Group’across the screen and in the Create and Edit pop-up(workcentrescan be assigned to many different workcentregroups but only one primary group)
- Updated the field order and visibility within the grid, ensuring:
- Key fields such as Name, Description, Asset Type, Area, Work Pattern, Is Active, and Asset Tracking are visible.
- Several fields, including SUID, Department, cost-related fields, capacity, efficiency, and operational constraints, are hidden by default.
Line Block Management
In 10.0.10.10 release we introduced the concept of line block, to allow the shopfloor estimated time for fix of an asset to be appropriately and automatically handled in the scheduling system.
In this release, we have enhanced the management of line block downtime by providing a more intuitive way to review and update estimated downtime end dates. It also improves access to current asset status information from the workstation interface.
Key changes delivered:
- Added a new‘Manage estimated downtime end date’option to theAssetCurrentStatus screen. This option is available when the selected work centre is currently in a downtime asset status.
- Introduced a dedicated pop-up for managing downtime end dates. The pop-up displays the details of the current downtime status, while restricting editing so that only the Estimated End Date fieldremainseditable. All other controls are read-only.

Improvements to Asset Current Status Management
- Updated the application so that Change Asset Status is only available when a work centre has been selected, either directly through the work centreselectionor through a loaded job.
- Added a new Asset Current Status option to the Asset Management menu, providing direct access to the current asset status report.

- Enhanced the Asset Current Status report with a Device filter, allowing users to view all workcentresassociated with a selected device.

- Implemented automatic pre-population of device and work centre filters when the report is opened from a workstation that already has a selected device or work centre.
- Added the ability to manage estimated downtime end dates directly from the Asset Current Status report when the selected asset is in a downtime status. The same restricted editing pop-up is used to ensure consistency.

e-DHR/ Electronic Signatures
This release has introduced a new Label Print eCHR line type that automatically records label printing lifecycle events and maintains a comprehensive audit trail for printed labels. This includes support for print, reprint, scrap, and scan-related information to improve traceability and compliance reporting.
Key changes delivered:
- Added a new eCHR line type called Label Print.
- Implemented automatic generation of eCHR records when:
- A print job transitions to Printed status and has a printed quantity greater than zero.
- A label issubsequentlyscrapped.
- Added recording of key audit information, including:
- Printed quantities.
- Scrapped quantities.
- Reprinted quantities.
- Reason codes and comments.
- User information and timestamps associated with transactions.[
- Implemented traceability links between related label transactions:
- Reprint transactions reference the original print job.
- Scrap transactions are linked to the originating print job.
- Added support for storing and displaying scanned label images as part of the audit record.
- Addedadditionaldetail information for:
- Scan image date and time.
- Scan image user information.

Label Printing
Product Label Version Notes
You can now add and manage notes against individual product label versions. This allows version-specific information, comments, or supporting details to be recorded directly against a product label version and maintained as part of the label management process.
A new Notes option is available when a product label version is selected. Users can:
- View existing notes for the selected product label version.
- Create new notes.
- Update existing notes.
- Delete notes that are no longerrequired.
- Archive notes to remove them from the active view whileretainingthe record.
Notes are stored against the specific product label version rather than the product label header, ensuring that information remains linked to the correct version. The Notes option is only available when a valid product label version is selected.
This enhancement provides better traceability and context for product label revisions by allowing important version-related information to be recorded and reviewed directly within the product label management process.
Multi-Select Label Printer Design assignment to Label Printers
You can now assign and unassign multiple label printers to a label design version in a single operation.

Previously, label design assignments to printers were limited to single selections, requiring users to repeat the assignment process for each printer. The label printer assignment dialog has been enhanced to support multi-selection, making it faster and easier to manage multiple printers that need to be assigned to a label design.
When managing label printer assignments, you can now:
- Select multiple unassigned label printers and assign them to a selected design version in one action.
- Select multiple assigned label designs and unassign them in one action.
Managing Approval Requests
The improvements that have been made focuses on two areas of label approval:
- Definingtheneed foranapproval: Defines what needs to be approved,what are the spec documents, and who needs to approve it.
- Executing the approval: Collecting the evidence that the required tests were performed, collecting the signatures required to do the approval.
Defining an Approval Need
Label Approval Wizard
A new Label Approval Wizard has been introduced to simplify the creation and management of product label approvals.

The guided workflow allows users to:
- Create approvals.
- Assign multiple product label versionsbased on a single defined label design version.
- Generate and review label verification images.
- Attach supporting documentation.
- Complete approval setup through a single, structured process.
The wizard is available from the Label Design, Product Label Management, and Product Label Approvals screens, providing a consistent approval experience regardless of where the process is started. Users can also add product label versions to an existing draft approval, making it easier to manage and update approvals before they are submitted for sign-off.
Manage an Open Approval
You can now manage active product label approvals from a dedicated approval workflow.
Users can review approval information, submit responses, attach supporting evidence documents, view response history, and create notifications without leaving the approval process.
Additional shortcuts and document viewing capabilities make it easier to review supporting information and compare approval-related documents during the approval lifecycle.

Executing an Approval
Managing approvals include engagement with the Management Approval Request screen which allows users to carry out several functions discussed below.
Attach Supporting Product Documents to Label Approvals
You can now attach or link product documents to a product label approval. Supporting documents, such as label specifications, can be referenced during the approval process, giving approvers direct access to relevant documentation when reviewing and approving labels. Product documents can be linked from existing records or uploaded directly as part of the approval workflow.
Compare approval images, reference documents, and approval evidence side by side
A new Images & Documents view has been added to Product Label Approvals, allowing users to display and compare any two approval-related images or documents side by side.

Each panel can be configured independently, enabling users to compare approval images, reference images, reference documents, and approval response attachments within the same screen.
Attach Reference Documents to a Label Approval Response
Approvers can now attach reference documents to their response when approving or rejecting a product label approval requirement. This allows supporting evidence, review notes, and other relevant documentation to be linked directly to the approval decision, improving traceability throughout the approval process.

Users can link one or more existing documents and select a specific document version for each attachment. To ensure the approval record remains accurate and auditable, only versioned documents can be attached, and the system prevents the same document version from being linked more than once to the same approval response.
Attached reference documents are available when reviewing the approval, providing approvers and reviewers with direct access to the evidence associated with each approval decision. Approvals can still be completed with or without attached reference documents, allowing organisations to use the feature where supporting evidence is required by their business processes.
Validate Literal Value Length Against Label Field Max Length
Validation has been added to label design fields to prevent literal values from exceeding the maximum length defined for the corresponding label field.

When label fields are generated from a BarTender template, users can configure literal values for those fields. The system now validates the length of the literal value against the field's maximum length and prevents the configuration from being saved if the value exceeds the allowed limit.
With this enhancement:
- A validation message is displayed when a literal value exceeds the configured maximum length of the label field.
- Invalid values cannot be saved until the length is reduced tocomply withthe field constraint.
- Blank literal valuesremainvalid and can be saved, as no minimum length requirement is enforced.
This improvement helps identify configuration issues during label design setup, reducing the risk of label printing errors caused by values that exceed the limits defined in the label template.
Quality
Check List Decimal Place Enforcement
In some environments the results recorded by an operator are invalid if insufficient decimal places have been recorded.
The requirement for this functionality can be explained in the example below.
Check step has a target of 1.35 and a USL of 1.40 and requires 2dp.
Operator enters a result in a check step of 1.4 this could in theory mean an actual result anywhere between 1.35 (OK) and 1.44 (Not OK). If the real result is 1.41 and the decimal places are not enforced the operator can enter 1.4 (which without dp enforcement could have been recorded as 1.40), which in theory could be interpreted as a pass. To prevent this non-conformance happening, the operator needs to be forced to enter 1.41, not 1.4.
A new Enforce Decimal Places option has been added to check item configuration, giving you greater control over the precision of numeric values entered during checklist activities.
The enhancement helps ensure that measurement results are recorded with the required level of accuracy. In scenarios where a specific number of decimal places is required, operators can now be prevented from entering values with insufficient precision, reducing the risk of inaccurate pass/fail evaluations.

Key changes include:
- A new Enforce Decimal Places checkbox has been added to check item templates and product specifications.
- A Required Decimal Places indicator is now displayed within the workstation checklist action screen alongside the acceptance criteria.
- The indicator is displayed in bold when decimal place enforcement is enabled, making the requirement more visible to operators.
When Enforce Decimal Places is enabled:
- Operators must enter values using the specified number of decimal places.
- Values that do not meet the required precision are not accepted.
When Enforce Decimal Places is disabled:
- Operators can enter values with any number of decimal places.
Reporting
Pay Window on Unbooked Time Dashboard
When looking at labour productivity, unbooked time is an important loss to quantify but it can also be important to distinguish between paid unbooked time and unpaid unbooked time.
For example, an operator arrives 15 minutes before their shift time – they are auto clocked into the system as they arrive and go to the locker room to get changed, arriving on the line at the start of the shift. This 15 mins unbooked time is a real unbooked time but it is unpaid and so is not a monetary loss.
The Unbooked Time Dashboard now includes a Pay Window filter that allows you to switch between viewing all unbooked time and only unbooked time that falls within paid working hours.

A new drop-down list is available alongside the existing dashboard filters with the following options:
- UnbookedAll (default): Dashboard displays allunbookedtime, including time outside an employee's paid shift.
- PaidUnbookedOnly: Dashboard charts andcalculations areincludeonlyunbookedtime that occurs within the employee's paid working hours.
Cycle Time Dashboard
The Cycle Time dashboard has been redesigned to improve usability and visibility in shop floor environments.
The cycle time dashboard is designed for long running operations (e.g. moulding operations) and displays the actual output rate vs the expected rate based on work centre standard time.
For example, an operation is running for a job to make 5000 units. The standard time is 1 unit per minute. After 1 hour the expected output is 60, but the actual output is 50, so the cycle time dashboard will display red (behind expected).
The lefthand side of the dashboard displays summary information for the operation in total, the right-hand side looks at current performance within the current hour window.

The dashboard has been renamed Cycle Time by Work Centre / Order and updated to present key production information more clearly on a single screen. The layout has been optimised so that dashboard content fits onto one page, making it easier to view on wall-mounted displays and shared production screens.
Key enhancements include:
- A searchable Work Centre filter that supports singleselection.
- A display of theordernumber andoperation filters. These filters are shown only when multiple orders or operations are associated with the selected work centre.
- A new Graphs for last [X] hours field, allowing users to define the reporting period.
- Updated summary information and dashboard layout for improved readability.
The dashboard graphs have also been enhanced to make production trends easier to interpret:
- Larger, more prominent graph titles.
- Improved axis labels and legends for better visibility.
- New axis titles: Qty Complete on the Y-axis and Hour Commencing on the X-axis.
- Hourly data points are now displayed for every hour in the selected period, including hours with no completions,providinga more complete view of production activity.
