Application Framework
Server-side paged grids
Column header filters on server-side paged grids now correctly apply across the full dataset rather than only the records loaded in the current browser page.

- Entering a value in a column header filter on a server-side paged grid now sends the filter criterion to the server, returning matching records from the entire dataset.
- Pagination controls update to reflect the filtered record count after the filter is applied.
eCHR/ Electronic Signatures
No-code eCHR Profile configuration
Historically, eCHR profile configuration required a degree of SQL/JSON coding and technical configuration.
In this release, eCHR profile configuration has been enhanced with a no-code framework that reduces the need for technical skills to implement. Users can now configure eCHR content in terms of what data is stored and how it is visualised through guided configuration tools. This provides customers with great flexibility to configure regulatory data capture that matches their processes without customisation or complex technical configuration.
The data fields to be stored and visualized for each eCHR section can now be configured through a graphical UI:

The following settings can be viewed and edited for each data field:
- Is Required: Mandatory inclusion in the eCHR. (This field is read-only and indicates where a field is required for system functionality or regulatory compliance).
- Store in eCHR: Defines what data you want to be stored in the immutable eCHR record. It is usually set to ‘Yes’ by default. If any are turned off, then none of the other toggles on that record can be set to ‘Yes’.
- In Summary: Indicates whether the field will be included in the summary sections on the eCHR listing and the printable report.
- Summary Aggregation: If you have multiple elements within the summary, then you can specify Count / List, for example ‘Count’ records the number of BOM slots, or ‘List’ which records the name of the BOM slots.
- In Listing Detail: ‘Yes’ to include in the Detail section of the website report.
- In Printable Report Details: ‘Yes’ to include in the Detail section of the printable PDF report.
The following line types have the low-code capability enabled in this release. Full roll out will be in place in the following release:
- Check Results Set eCHR Line Type
- Operation Quantity Completion eCHR Line Type
- As Built eCHR Line Type
- Use / Remove eCHR Line Type
- Scrap WIP Line Type
- Issue eCHR Line Type
- Operation Document eCHR Line Type
- Product Document eCHR Line Type
- Job Document eCHR Line Type
- Check Results Set Document eCHR Line Type
Integration
Integration Log multi-record export
The Integration Log screen now supports multi-record export, allowing users to select any combination of log records and download them in a single operation. This reduces the effort required to extract integration log data for analysis, audit, or troubleshooting.

Label Printing
Label Administration
Revision history on Label Design and Product Label screens
The 'History' button has been renamed to 'Revision History' across both the Label Design and Product Label screens, providing clearer and more consistent terminology. Dedicated grids for deleted records have also been introduced on both screens, making soft-deleted label data visible for audit and traceability purposes.
Capture and view revision snapshots of label design and product label versions within an approval
When a label design version or product label version is assigned to a product label approval, the revision that was used for the approval is always available. This ensures that approvers review a fixed, auditable record of exactly what was submitted and approved, and that any subsequent changes to the underlying entities do not affect the approval record.
An example of where this could happen is when a product label version X (revision 1) is submitted to an approval A, is rejected and approval A is abandoned. Product Label version X is reverted to draft and changed (revision 2) then reassigned to approval B. There is a clear audit trail showing revision 1 against approval A and revision 2 against approval B even though the same product label version X is linked.
- Note that the only scenario where you'd edit a label design after it has been submitted for approval is when that design has been rejected. Once it's rejected, you abandon the approval, make changes and resubmit it for approval.
- Once an approval is active or closed, all linked label design versions and product label versions are locked within the context of that approval – no change of revision is allowed for any entity.
- A complete and auditable snapshot of what revision of each version is maintained against each approval, supporting full traceability of approved, rejected, or abandoned approvals.
Test print dialogue for label configuration validation
Test prints can be generated from the label design screen for non-product related labels, or from the product label screen for product labels. The Test Print button is only available on the product label screen when a single product label version is selected.
The Test Print dialog for label configuration validation has been redesigned to reduce manual data entry, remove irrelevant controls, and provide a clearer, more structured workflow for label administrators.

Auto-population of print values from the label design version and source-type-driven editability rules ensure faster and more confident validation of label output before production use.
- Print values are now auto-populated from the label design version based on field source type test print defaults, with the option to generate / test SQL outputs if required by pressing ‘Generate SQL values’ and specifying an example existing item.
- The Device dropdown has been removed from the Test Print dialog.
- The Print Type dropdown has been removed and replaced with two distinct checkboxes that clearly separate the available test output options (create virtual print image vs printing a physical test label).
- Editability of each print value field is governed by its source type, preventing inappropriate manual overrides (e.g. product label fields and label design literal fields cannot be overridden).
Delete draft Product Label Approval
Users with the Advanced Product Label Administration permission can now delete product label approvals that are in Draft status. This allows unwanted or incorrectly created draft approvals to be removed, keeping the approval register clean and accurate.
- The delete action is only available when the product label approval status is Draft.
- The delete action is only visible to users with the Advanced Product Label Administration permission.
- On deletion, the approval header record and all links to associated label design versions, product label versions, and documents are removed.
- The linked entities themselves are not deleted, only the associations within the approval are removed.
- The linked product label versions are reverted to draft when the approval is deleted.
- A confirmation prompt is displayed before deletion is executed.
- After confirmation, the deletion completes and the user is returned to the approval register.
Label Print with Preview
Configure Label Print with Preview Workflow Action
The Label Print with Preview action has been extended to be able to be used on shared workflows and configured to be copied from template workflows. This is useful in situations where you might want to trigger prints / reprints on rework workflows or allow for deployment of a large number of product specific workflows from a single template.
The Label Print with Preview workflow action configuration screen has been redesigned to improve useability:
- Printer selection at the action configuration level is now optional, allowing the correct printer to be determined at runtime based on the operator's current device rather than requiring a single printer to be specified upfront.
- The Label Design field displays the human-readable design name rather than a database identifier.
- The scan requirement for the action can be configured independently, allowing different operations within the same workflow to enforce or omit label scan capture as needed.
- Product-specific workflows.
- The Label Design dropdown in a product-specific workflow lists only label designs with at least one approved version and a product label for the workflow product.
- Where the selected label design is a non-product-related label design, the label design version selection and version management controls accurately reflect the current approval and versioning state, allowing selection of the latest approved version or a specified label design version.
- Where the selected label design is a product-related label design, the product label version selection and version management controls allow selection of the latest approved version or a specified product label version.
- Shared/template workflows.
- In a shared workflow, the product is not known when the workflow is configured, so the focus is on specifying the label design and label design version logic only.
- Where the selected label design is a non-product-related label design, the label design version selection and version management controls accurately reflect the current approval and versioning state, allowing selection of the latest approved version or a specified label design version.
- Where the selected label design is a product-related label design, the product label version selection and version management controls allow selection of the latest approved product label version only.
- Validation of label print actions with product-specific labels can only take place when the workflow is linked to a product through a recipe (shared workflow) or copied to the product (template workflow).
Preview Workstation Action
The Label Print with Preview workstation action has been enhanced to guide operators step-by-step through the full label printing and reconciliation process. This has been designed to support compliance with ISO 13485 traceability requirements.
The redesigned action provides structured variable data entry, side-by-side label preview and master reference comparison, integrated BarTender print job management, and a complete reconciliation workflow (including scrap, reprint, and mandatory scan capture) with pre-completion warnings to surface any outstanding obligations before the step is signed off.
- Printer selection is limited to printers approved for the label design, with intelligent defaulting based on action configuration and current device assignment.
- Prompt field entry cards are displayed only when prompt fields are configured on the label design.
- Side-by-side display of the label preview and master reference image supports visual verification. This is further enhanced by the ability to zoom in on images, especially where labels are very detailed and with small print (see Label preview image zoom section).
- Reconciliation panel provides a quick summary of the status of printing vs the target quantity to be printed.
- Reconciliation workflow and details captures scrap quantities, reprint justifications, and mandatory scan evidence.
- When reconciliation enforcement is turned on, operators cannot create print jobs that would exceed the target quantity.
- Pre-completion warnings alert the operator to any outstanding reconciliation obligations before the step can be signed off.
Prevent Label Printing When Print Quantity Would Exceed Job Target
Product label discrepancies are one of the leading causes of findings in regulated industry quality system audits.
This release introduces full enforcement of label reconciliation which, when enabled, ensures the quantity of labels printed must match the quantity required for the job. All printed labels must be fully accounted for including through re-prints, printer errors and label scrap providing a robust audit trail to demonstrate compliance.
A Reconciliation Mode setting has been added to Product Label Versions, giving authorised users control over how printed label quantities are enforced relative to the job target.

Three distinct modes are available, supporting a range of operational and regulatory requirements from full enforcement to reporting-only monitoring. The reconciliation modes are:
- Off: Disables reconciliation requirements. This is suitable for label types such as tote labels where quantity enforcement is not required.
- On – Enforced: Prevents operators from printing a quantity that would exceed the remaining job target, ensuring the printed label count never exceeds the job target without prior reconciliation.
- On – Reporting Only: Allows operators to print quantities exceeding the job target while capturing reconciliation results for reporting and audit purposes.
The Reconciliation Mode setting is configured in the Product Label Version configuration screen and applies universally across all print routes for that product label version, including direct print, reprints from the print queue, and any other print trigger.
Label preview image zoom
Operators can now zoom in on label preview images and reference images within the workstation Label Print with Preview action screen. This capability allows operators to closely inspect fine text and detailed content on labels, supporting accurate verification against the reference image before confirming label correctness.

Label scrap records
The Label Scrap Records screen has been enhanced to improve audit capability, data visibility, and usability for production and quality supervisors.

Comments entered at the time of scrapping or reprinting labels are now visible in the screen, alongside an improved column set, search filtering, and export capabilities.
- A 'Comment' column is now displayed on the Label Scrap Records screen, showing the exact text entered at scrap or reprint time.
- The available column set has been expanded to provide more complete data for each scrap event.
- Search and filtering capabilities have been added to support efficient investigation of scrap events in high-volume environments.
- Export functionality allows scrap records to be extracted for external analysis or audit purposes.
Label Print Management
Label Print Queue – Search Filters
Search filtering on the Label Print Queue has been improved to make it faster and more precise for operators and print administrators to locate print jobs. A new combo box for product search and a new Works Order search field have been added to the filter bar.
- The Product filter has been replaced with a combo box that supports both free-text search and dropdown selection, allowing users to type to filter the product list or select from it directly.
- A Works Order search text box has been added to the filter bar, positioned alongside the Product and date range filters.
- Works Order search supports partial text matching.
- Both new controls apply their filter criteria when the main Search button is clicked. There is no auto-search on keystroke.
- Existing filter behaviour, including the date range filter and Only Reprints toggle, is unchanged.
- An empty Works Order field returns all results regardless of order number.
Ability to download btw from label print queue
Users can now navigate directly from the Label Print Queue to the Label Design screen for any selected print job.
A new 'Label Design Version' button on the print queue opens the Label Design screen pre-filtered to the exact label design version used for that job, and the print queue now clearly displays which label design version was associated with each job.

Within the label design version it is now possible to select ‘Download btw file’ to download and check the Bartender design that was used.

Print Job Permissions
System administrators can now configure granular, role-based permissions for print job actions, ensuring that only authorised users can cancel or manually confirm print jobs. This supports compliance and audit integrity by preventing unauthorised changes to print job state.
- A 'Cancel Print Job (Pending)' permission controls the ability to cancel jobs that have not yet started printing. The cancel action is hidden or disabled for users without this permission.
- A 'Cancel Print Job (Printing)' permission controls the ability to cancel an actively printing job. An audit log entry is created when this action is performed.
- A 'Manually Confirm Print Completion' permission controls the ability to manually mark a job as printed. This is required when the physically printed quantity does not match the expected quantity due to an error condition. Users without this permission cannot access the manual confirmation action. When a user performs manual confirmation, the system prompts for a printed quantity and e-signature before the action completes.
Label print queue reconciliation and recovery
This release improves how operators and supervisors manage label print jobs that fail, time out, or are interrupted. The Label Print Queue now records the number of labels that were physically produced, supports controlled corrections when the recorded quantity is inaccurate, and provides structured actions for cancelling or reprinting jobs based on status and permissions.
Printed quantity tracking
- A Printed Qty column is available in the print queue list view, so users can see the recorded output without opening individual job records.
- Successful print jobs display a Printed Qty that matches the requested quantity and a clear Success status.
- Authorised users can correct the Printed Qty when the recorded value does not match the physical labels produced.
Error and exception handling
Failed, timed-out, and interrupted print jobs now follow a consistent recovery workflow. When the system confirms that no labels were printed, the job can be cancelled without reconciliation. When labels were partially printed, the user can enter the printed quantity, provide an e-signature, and complete the job with a full audit trail.
- Timed-out jobs display an Error status with an advanced status description that identifies the cause as a response timeout in the job details pop-up.
- An Error Reason field provides a human-readable explanation for failed or exceptional job states.
- Manual quantity corrections and status updates are tracked and auditable.
- Error-handling actions create immutable audit entries that link the resolution to the responsible user.
Print job actions
Operators can cancel or reprint print jobs based on the job status and their assigned permissions. This provides a controlled way to recover from print issues while preserving reconciliation and audit requirements.
- A pending job that has not started printing can be cancelled immediately by an authorised user, with no reconciliation required.
- Attempting to cancel a job in Printing status with only the Cancel (Pending) permission is blocked, and the user is told which permission is required.
- An actively printing job can be cancelled by a user with the Cancel (Printing) permission, which starts the reconciliation flow for quantity and e-signature capture.
Label Scrap Analysis
A new Label Scrap Analysis report has been added, enabling print administrators and quality managers to perform self-serve visual analysis of label scrap activity. The report provides breakdowns by reason, printer, label design, and product to support waste reduction and quality investigations.
- The report connects to label scrap data including: Label Print Queue ID, Visual Serial No, Product, Works Order, Quantity Printed, Quantity Scrapped, Reason, Date, User, Comments, Printer, Label Design, Label Design Version, Product Label Version, and Print Job Type (Print / Reprint).
- The top row displays three pie charts showing Scrap by Reason, Scrap by Label Design, and Scrap by Printer.
- A stacked bar chart is included in the middle section to show scrap trends over time.
- Test print jobs are excluded from all report data to ensure analysis reflects production scrap only.

Scan audit metadata on Label Print job.
The system now records the identity of the user and the exact UTC timestamp whenever a label scan image is captured against a print job. This metadata is stored with the scan artefact, providing a mandatory, immutable audit trail that links each scan to the person who performed it and the precise moment it was recorded.

- The user ID of the authenticated user who triggered the scan capture is stored with the print job record at the time of scan.
- A UTC ISO 8601 timestamp with millisecond precision is recorded when the scan is saved.
- Scan metadata is viewable alongside the scan image from the print job details in the Label Print Queue, Item Status screen, and Label Print History within the Label Print with Preview action.
- Scan metadata is stored in the eCHR record.
- A 'Scan' button is available on the Label Print Queue and an 'Upload Scan' button is available from Item Status and Label Print History to initiate scan capture.
Public API
Schedule List API
The Schedule List API has been updated to support granular, independent filtering parameters and now returns workflow and Bill of Material names in its response.
Reporting
WIP dashboard
The WIP Dashboard has been improved to deliver more accurate and reliable data for production supervisors. Key fixes address negative idle hour displays, inaccurate product type bar chart values, and the absence of date range filtering, all of which impacted the ability to make informed capacity and bottleneck decisions.
- Idle hours are now clamped to a minimum of zero. Negative values are never displayed, and an indicator flags anomalies for investigation without blocking the supervisor.
- Product Type bar chart values have been corrected to accurately reflect WIP volumes, with the chart scale auto-adjusting based on actual data rather than a fixed axis ceiling.
- A Date Range filter (From / To) has been added to the WIP Dashboard, allowing supervisors to analyse WIP for a specific shift, day, or week.
Stock Management
Merge Material Item
The Preserve Oldest field in the Merge Material Item pop-up now defaults to 'Yes'. This ensures that, by default, the system uses the older of the two items as the primary source of truth for the date of the merged item, reducing the risk of incorrect date assignment during merge operations.
